MEDIAFOUR SIGNS WITH FINNISH DISTRIBUTOR
People Group Oy to represent Mediafour in Finland and the Baltic States
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (05-Jan-2000) — Mediafour
Corporation, a leading developer of cross-platform file sharing
software solutions,
announced today a partnership with People Group Oy, a leading
Finnish distributor. Mediafour's award-winning software,
MacDrive for Windows, will be available at various resellers
and retailers throughout Finland as well as Lithuania, Estonia
and Latvia.
The agreement was the result of a recent week-long visit to Scandinavia
by Mediafour's international marketing director Daniel
Wallek. During their meeting in Helsinki, the companies
discussed their common focus on the graphics industry. The
companies share similar views on the importance of increasing
productivity and providing exceptional customer service. "People
Group is a perfect match for us," said Wallek. "I
am confident in their ability to effectively represent our products
in Finland and the Baltic States."
Mediafour first entered the European market in September 1999,
and has since been consistently expanding their presence. "We
look to establish long-term relationships with our distributors,
which requires exceptional communication," said Wallek. "We
certainly have that with People Group." Mediafour
projects the securing of partnerships with additional international
distributors before the end of the year.
